I was a bit disappointed for Johnny that he just couldn't do a jump, but that is one of those things. He and I did another run at the Scable before he decided that he wanted to give the Adventure Park a try.
This consists of a pretty arduous climb around two of the viaduct pylons and through the trees on a variety of wood and cable walkways with a number of slides down cables.
The staff explain very carefully all of the safety features of the equipment and how you move around obstacles. They then make you practice in front of them before they let you lose on your own.
The initial part of the course is to climb up the side of one of the viaduct pylons to a height of about 5 or 6 metres, from here you work your way around to the other side, before taking your first slide down a cable to commence crossing the river on a wire bridge.

From there it is a case of around a second pylon before circling the field on all sorts of wobbling and misaligned walkways.
Johnny was easy enough found at any given moment. You just had to listen out for all the swear words or the cries of: Daddy! Daddy!
He got an extra go on the final cable because as he whizzed past me I realised that I hadn't got the camera recording him. We asked nicely and they let him run back up the hill and do it again.
All I had to do now was collect our photos and t-shirts, find somewhere to eat and drive the 300 kilometres home again.
Johnny slept - I think he had had a good day.
