Who says it doesn't snow here

February/March 2005

Here we are then the 2nd March and Johnny hasn't been able to get in to work for a couple of days now. We aren't quite snowbound but it has snowed gently for the past 48 hours. This on top of what we had last week.

Monday morning we noted that it was -8 Celsius which would explain why Sandra and Peter spending her birthday in Amiens noted that it was cold enough to cause the gargoyles on the cathedral severe problems.

However we have had a few sunny days as well, so here are a few moments of snow in Rapechy. They tell me we don't usually get that much, so perhaps this is history in the making.

All I have to do now is convince Johnny to make a bigger snowman.
